I never actually got good at painting upto a certain point. It's been more of a frustration rather than a creative release for me. Maybe that's why I don't do it as often anymore. But once in a while I do get inspired and come up with something I am reasonably happy with. Thought I'd share one of them on here.
The original ' Lion Hunt ' painting was done by the talented Emile-Jean-Horace Vernet ( 1789 - 1863 ). You can have a look at the original work here ~~ > [link] As you can see , I got most of the details messed up ( I hate the way my lion cub looks ! ) , but at the end of the day I can sit back and enjoy it nevertheless. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
